Thermal Imaging

Our infrared camera creates thermal images showing surface heat variations.  This allows us to detect anomalies invisible to the naked eye.

For the most part, these images show the HVAC system working as intended, the electrical panel operating at acceptable temperature, both elements on the water heater working, etc.  The images can also show areas of possible moisture intrusion, abnormally hot electrical components and connections or plumbing leaks.

The photos below show how thermal imaging is an invaluable tool in confirming proper operating conditions and in finding hidden issues (see moisture detection photos at the bottom of this page).
